Some of the animals were too far to see, but we were able to look through his telescope and saw them clearly. He also took some pictures with our phone through the scope, which turned out perfectly. It would be easy to miss many of the animals (lizards, hummingbirds,... read more spiders etc) without a guide to point them out. Communication was great and it was easy to find the parking lot and meeting spot. Only complaint is just how busy the park is (which is of course out of the tour company’s control) but it felt like we walked and then stopped very frequently and never really broke away from the crowds. Our guide was very knowledgeable and glad we did this vs just exploring on our own!

Our guide Jean Pierre was awesome!! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the park and all the creatures we saw. His ability to be walking along and stop and find a creature, bug, snake, flower, up in the trees, on a tree, down in a little ditch was mind-boggling. He was extremely adept at using my phones camera through his telescope, capturing pictures. He is a definite request to lead your group.
